hop, Sip & Stroll through Ripon
Join us for an exciting day during Ripon’s 3rd Annual Women on Watson (#WOWripon) event! The event features new and exciting activities–you don’t want to miss out.
The event kicks off Friday evening, August 4th with our third ArtWalk of the season. From 5:30 to 8:30 pm, numerous businesses will have various forms of artistic expression on display in their establishments for patrons to enjoy. The Artwalk will feature an array of watercolors, paintings, metalwork, quilts and custom jewelry. Visitors will not only be able to enjoy art/painting demonstrations and live entertainment, but will also have the opportunity to socialize with participating artists and purchase one of a kind works of art.
The event continues on Saturday, August 5th from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm with #WOWripon, providing visitors with exciting shopping and dining opportunities.
Throughout the event, boutiques and gift shops will offer special activities including demonstrations, trunk shows, spa treatments, displays by local artists, entertainment, and more. Visitors will be able to stroll through the shops in the downtown historic district while enjoying refreshments and sampling products at participating businesses. While most participating merchants are located downtown, other great shops throughout the city are also open for your day of shopping therapy.
The WOWripon Fashion Show is in the planning stage and updates will be available soon. Dear Prudence, Hamilton’s Ladies Apparel, The American Alchemy, Violet & Company, Diedrich Jewelers and others will host a brunch begining at 10:00 am. Local fashion experts will share their knowledge regarding current fashion trends to help you stand out in a crowd, regardless of whether you are attending a casual or upscale function. Cost is $20 per person payable at the door and space will be limited.
